Great gift ideas your furbaby is sure to love ❤
I adopted my furbaby from our local animal shelter earlier this year. I had my eye on him for a while since Glenn and I weren’t in a position to take care of a pet. The people at the shelter said he was 1 1/2 maybe 2 but we always thought he was younger. I don’t think that he ever had a real home he was found as a stray, so I basically just want to spoil him rotten. He is my little baby even at almost 70 or 80 lbs of happy weight lol.
So I decided to share ideas that I thought were perfect gift ideas for furbabies. I mean they spend their whole lives keeping smiles on our faces, so I think they deserve some extra thought around Christmas too 🙂
This sherpa blanket is $8.98 at Walmart. This blanket was the idea for this post because my puppy isn’t really into blankets…. however I came home all excited about my new uber soft blanket…. and to my surprise so was Frankie. He has loved snuggling up in it to watch all the holiday shows with me and it’s light weight enough to where he doesn’t get too warm. Get this for your furbaby, and they will love it!

Speaking of Frankie here is a photo of my puppy snuggling in his blanky! On a side note he just woke up from his nap looked up and smiled at this blanket and laid back down. Excuse me while I cry – he’s so cute! #somuchsweetness

Tshirt rope toys!
If you have old shirts lying around that you have no use for this is a great way to recycle them into a cute toy for your furbaby, especially if they love to play tug a war. And in a world that suffers from having to worry about safety in everything from toys to food… I think it’s a nice way to feel a little bit better about the toy your puppy is chewing on.

I think everybody has this and I honestly get it. This is such a great gift idea for them! You get to keep an eye on them while you’re away and they get treats, which are always a favorite.

I also found this one which is geared more towards cats. It has an interactive laser toy feature and you can use multiple ones through the house. I haven’t heard as much about this one but it had really good reviews.

Orthopedic dog beds are a great idea for your furbaby to help with their joints, especially as they get older. No one deserves a lumpy bed to sleep on, including them, and this idea will help them get their best sleep yet so they’re up bright an early ready for their kibbles 🙂

Water fountains are a great idea for your cat or dog! They help keep the water moving so that it tastes better and they aren’t drinking the icky stuff that tends to gather at the bottom of the bowl. Plus it comes with a filter, which I thought was awesome…. mainly because my husband picks on me for giving Frankie filtered water, but he deserves it!

And finally another great idea to celebrate Christmas with your furbaby past or present is to donate to your local animal shelter on their behalf. It’s a great way to spread some Christmas magic to pets that have yet to find their furever homes. We’re donating this Christmas in honor of my sweet baby Teddy who passed away earlier this year. And we’ll be donating again to celebrate Frankie’s Gotcha day a bit later!
